Emmanuelle Géhin

President and CEO
RECYC-QUÉBEC

Emmanuelle Géhin has been dedicated to her passion for environmental protection for over 20 years. In addition to her work in the environmental sector, she has made her mark in various areas, including politics, government, and communications, always with a renewed commitment to advancing progress for a better present and future.

A true pioneer in this field, she founded and led OZONE, one of the first consulting firms specializing in sustainable development and green marketing in Quebec, for 10 years. Recognized by her peers for her visionary leadership and significant contributions, she was awarded the Prix Femmes d’affaires du Québec in 2009.

Continuing her path in the public sector, Emmanuelle Géhin applied her strategic and tactical skills to the state-owned enterprise RECYC-QUÉBEC for five years. She then served as Deputy Director at the office of the Minister of the Environment, Climate Change, Wildlife, and Parks, where she played a key role in modernizing deposit and selective collection systems and managed several major projects related to responsible waste management. After a brief return to consulting with Transfert Environnement et Société, she was appointed President and CEO of RECYC-QUÉBEC in April 2023.

As a solution-oriented action leader, she aims to make RECYC-QUÉBEC a key player in Quebec’s transition to a green and circular economy, focusing on principles close to her heart, including source reduction. She plans to continue the deployment of the Strategic Plan 2022-2025 in collaboration with all stakeholders.
