Slowing down to manage better

Considering that we will be navigating through a labor shortage for another decade, our teams need sustainable solutions to retain their talents. If you come to the conclusion that doing more with fewer resources is not viable, then SLOWING DOWN TO MANAGE BETTER becomes a credible alternative.

What a challenge! We’ve been trying to speed up for centuries. The relentless pursuit of optimizing our resources is ingrained in our collective unconscious.

And what if I told you, are you ready? Let’s go, let’s slow down…

Not as easy as that. Where to start thinking differently? How to explain this to managers? On what criteria to make new choices that humanize our approaches rather than aiming for the maximum possible?

What is the positive impact of slowing down on our results?

This conference will enable participants to :

  • Initiate themselves to the concept of Slow management and consider other perspectives
  • Equip themselves to act differently – RCR (Reflection, Choice, Reaction)
  • Reprioritize – saying no tactfully and simplifying projects
  • Trust: develop listening skills and strengthen interpersonal relationships
  • Review expectations and avoid overqualification
  • Allow themselves time to reflect and consult.
