La Grande tournée du détail in Rimouski - David vs. Goliath: Preserving Local Stores in the Face of a Giant

La Grande tournée du détail is a flagship initiative of the Retail Council of Quebec (RCQ), made possible by the financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy. This ambitious project aims to promote retail and local shopping in Quebec’s regions. To achieve this, we will travel across the province in a bus specially decorated in the RCQ colors, symbolizing our commitment to local merchants and communities.

Grande tournée du détail

Once upon a time, there was a peaceful town with its downtown area, church, school, shops, and parks. One day, a giant store set up shop there, raising concerns about the harmony and survival of local businesses. How does the story end? Based on the results of studies and similar cases, Pierre Emmanuel Paradis will tell us. The choice is simple: wait and suffer, or prepare and act. He will also be joined by Elfi Morin, General Director of Les Produits du Québec.
