A program to provide coaching for retail SMEs of the Island of Montréal to complete their digital shift
After a successful program for Québec Retailers’ Digital Shift, that supported 1,325 retailers across Québec for their migration toward e-commerce, the Quebec Retail Council (CQCD) was mandated to coach nearly 1,000 merchants over a three-month period. This free coaching program aims to facilitate the digital shift for businesses on the Island of Montréal, ensuring recovery. The CQCD works in conjunction with Association des SDC de Montréal and PME MTL.
What does the coaching involve ?
You are a merchant and are established on the Island of Montréal? With this plan, you may take advantage of free advisory services to accelerate your digital shift. An agreement between the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail (CQCD) and the City will help provide support to over 400 Montréal businesses.
This program includes:
- Services from CQCD e-commerce experts
- An approach that is tailored to physical distancing measures and telework
- A process that is customized and results-driven
- Monitoring and establishing performance indicators throughout the process
To be eligible, you must meet each of the following conditions:
- Offering products and services to clients
- Being a legally established business in Québec (or in Canada)
- Having a main commercial office on the Island of Montréal
Type of coaching
The coaching provided by the CQCD experts covers various themes, such as the selection of an e-commerce platform, digital marketing, the optimization of a transactional site, advertising, natural referencing and search engine advertising.
Webinars and Online Training
The CQCD also provides open webinars, during which participating merchants familiarize with the steps to follow for the optimization of their online presence, whether through their newsletter, advertisements, natural referencing or social networks. (in French only)
