There is a large proportion of young workers in retail.
In fact, according to the recent Sector Diagnosis of the Retail Workforce in Quebec 2020-2023, we observe an over-representation of young people aged between 15 and 24 among workers. Being mostly students, they mostly hold part-time positions.
