On February 25, 2025, the Retail Council of Quebec (RCQ) is holding its next Rendez-vous politique in the presence of François‑Philippe Champagne, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry.
During this event, Mr. Champagne will present his ministry’s major orientations and will address several key challenges concerning the retail sector, including:
- The 2025 tariffs of the United States;
- Credit card fees;
- The “unfair” competitiveness that Shein and Temu represent;
- Pension plans, including the implementation of a career extension credit.
A discussion period will also be held between participants and the Minister, offering a unique opportunity to ask your questions and share your concerns.
