Karim has worked with nationally and internationally recognized businesses in both a consulting and executive capacity. Most recently, he supported a major retailer in redefining their online to offline journey, steering them through the strategic, operational, and technological considerations every choice presents to achieve the best result.Throughout his thirty-year career, Karim has worked with leaders across industries and sectors helping them question old industry norms and business models, to unlock new growth. Before founding Ascendis, he held leadership roles in major Retail, Telecommunications and Technology companies. Karim’s professional journey began in Management Consulting, focusing on Strategic and Corporate Planning, and Market entry strategies.

Karim’s commitment extends to his community. He is an active volunteer and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Montreal and the Foundation of Greater Montréal. He is currently Vice-Chair of SeedChange. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from McGill University (Canada).
